Nursing Scholarship Program Now Accepting Applications

The Health Resources and Services Administration is now accepting student applications for the Nursing Scholarship Program for next year.

The Nursing Scholarship pays tuition, fees, other education costs and a living stipend to students in accredited RN training programs.  In exchange, upon graduation, scholars work for at least 2 years at a facility, such as a health center, rural health clinic, nursing home or hospital, that has a critical shortage of nurses.

Applications will be accepted until Thursday, May 6, at 5 pm ET.  It’s expected about 500 applicants will be selected to receive the scholarship in FY 2010.  Click here to apply now!
